Happy Mother's Day!!

A short post this morning.. just wanted to wish you all a Happy Mother's Day and introduce you to my Mom.. she has been gone now for almost 19 years.. and there isn't a day goes by that I don't miss her and think of her.. She was my best friend, funny, supportive.. so creative with everything.. painting, macrame, quilling, sewing, anything she touched....She was  the best cook ever..and nothing ever fazed her.. the best Amma ever.. my kids so missed out on her dying so young.. her most favorite thing was spending time with them... She would call on a friday and say.. It's a baking weekend.. need my helpers.. and away they would go.. these weekends always ended with a make your own sundae party..they loved it!
Thank you Mom.. for everything.. I love you and miss you...
These are the beautiful flowers my kids sent.. a lovely surprise...

The weekend has been fun..best Mother's Day present ever... Chaya and I have been cleaning flower beds.. raking grass, swinging, sliding,.. rained abit yesterday so we came in and made cookies... she loves her new princess rake.. and put it to good use...
Amazing how much she can carry...lol we had fun..
And a ATC card...
Well she should be up any time now.. so should get going here.. Hope you all have a wonderful day! Thanks for stopping by..

  2. Happy Mothers day Kathy. I so know what you mean - my eldest two at least got a few years with my Mum but my youngest was born the year she died. It's so hard to believe they will never meet. Especially as my youngest has so many of her mannerisms.
